Why use the MSSQL SQL Database Connector plugin?

PreviousIntroductionNextGetting Started

Last updated 2 years ago

Bubble offers a free version of a SQL Database Connector with some limitations. This plugin offers a more comprehensive implementation that will allow you to work with an external Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) database with less restrictions. There are definite trade-offs to using the default connector verses our plugin connector. However, we believe the best case scenario is to use a combination of both options.

This will offer the greatest flexibility to you as the developer when connecting to your MSSQL database.

Demo App

The demo app can be found at: (note: The sql server instance for the demo app is not an "always on" instance. Consequently, the first request will take a longer operation in order to spin-up the sql server instance.)
